For as long as you can remember, you have heard about Japanese women and the culture that is so different from ours.

Sexuality is a part of the appeal that women have to men around the world. Not just because of their looks but their culture and beliefs.

Why Is Japanese Culture So Sexualized?

1. Porn Sites Do Not Help

Pornhub is one of the most popular sex sites on the internet. It is safe to say that the site is the one that most people go to when trends hit the adult entertainment market.

Pornhub’s blog, which keeps an eye on the trends and ranks them yearly, came with some not-so-surprising news.

In 2020 the most searched keyword on the site was “Japanese.” In 2021 the most sought was “Hentai,” which is Japanese anime with a dose of some serious pornography.

For millions of men across the globe, this is how they portray Japanese women. As sexual objects that are simply there for their pleasure and satisfaction.

2. Anime Is Not A True Representation

Anime is a movie or short skit drawn by hand and then computer animated to make it come to life. It has many uses in teaching and learning about Japanese culture if you ignore the sexuality thrown in.

Amine is marketed to younger generations of people, mainly young men. To get their attention and draw them into the storyline, the Japanese women have had some changes to who they really are.

Asian women are generally petite with fewer curves than women of other areas. Still, in anime, that is not the case. Animations have increased breast sizes and thickened thighs, making them curvy.

Curvy is what the average male population likes to look at sexually. So even though the anime writers have done this to improve ratings, they have caused more sexualization of Japanese women.

3. Polite To A Fault

From the time they are young, Japanese people are taught by their parents and relatives to be polite at all times.

Female children are also taught that being polite means bowing their heads down and smiling, even when the things around them are not the best.

Politeness is not a common trait outside of Asian cultures, which means it is often mistaken for submissiveness. This leads to even more sexualized thoughts about the women of Japan.

4. Others Before Themselves Is Culture

Another cultural shock to the rest of the world is the idea that Japanese women will put the needs of all others before themselves.

This means that if you were sitting at the table waiting for food, the women of the house in Japan would cater to you just like you were royalty.

Unfortunately, this fantastic cultural quality is another object of sexuality to men. Women that put the needs of others first would make great wives and extraordinary sex objects.

5. Selflessness Is Not an Act

Selflessness Is Not an Act

Selflessness is a character trait that very few people have unless you take a look at the culture of the Japanese people.

Japanese women are more concerned about the people around them than themselves. You may be able to imagine what this means to men worldwide.

If you don’t have a clue, though, it is simple. Men look at women that like to care for their loved ones as submissive servants to the men, which is far from the truth, but it is what they are thinking.

6. Bathhouses Have A Hidden Agenda

You have heard about the bathhouses and massage parlors that are more than they appear to be.

Some of them, not all, will trade sexual services for financial compensation, where the Japanese women working in them make most of their money.

As you can tell, it is another aspect of life and working that men have grasped onto as part of Japanese culture.

7. Societal Pressure To Be Housewives

Japanese society embraces their culture with the fierceness of a Tiger. They strongly feel that they should no longer be working once their young women marry.

In fact, they are taught to become the perfect housewives and the best mothers in the world. Society pushes for this outcome, even though many opt for more traditional marriages.

Traditional marriages where both adults work to support the family and take turns caring for the house and children. This is taboo to the Japanese, who try to embrace their cultural upbringings.

Women that want to be housewives and stay-at-home mothers are sought after by many men. Men see this as a sexual issue that should never need to be addressed.

8. Dating Sites Push For Sexuality

Do a quick search on dating websites that feature Japanese women. You will find that the options that come up are for Asian women living abroad that want to find husbands to care for them.

Men that will take them away from their poverty-stricken lives to give them a better life in another part of the world.

Some of these sites are known as Asian bride sites, but for the most part, they are sites where women join to meet men outside of their circles.

Men outside of Japan consider Asian women the perfect sexual being. These sites do nothing to help sway those opinions.

9. Memories From The Women Of WWII

Japanese women from the World War II era may have simply been trying to take care of their families, but the rest of the world saw their behavior a little differently.

When Americans and other foreigners were in their country, the women found that they had an opportunity to make big money. Quick money.

Prostitution soared during the war, and the women of Asia never truly recovered from the crazy stories servicemen would tell.

What it boiled down to was that the Japanese women would do anything to earn money to feed their families, which meant anything.

Conclusion

Women of Japan have received an unfair judgment from people around the world. It has become a common opinion that all women in the country are sexual beings.

Sexual beings were put on the Earth to please the men of the world. Unfortunately, that is far from the truth. There is much more to the culture of the Japanese people than what may first be apparent.
